IC COMMUNITY UPDATE
New office, new address
With this newsletter we want to inform you about our moving to Söder (South of Stockholm City). Since the beginning of this year our address is Hornsgatan 15, floor 7, with a wonderful view of Stockholm City. From our lunch room we can count up to seven churches. Please do not hesitate to come and visit us!
New customers
We are delighted to mention our new customers: Östergötlands Läns Landsting, Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset, FOI Sensorsystem (Totalförsvarets forskningsinstitut), HSN-förvaltningen (Hälso- och Sjukvĺrdsnämnden) och Banverket Verksamhetsstyrning.
Collaboration with Microsoft
Since last autumn we collaborate with Microsoft concerning a competence development project (within the European Social fund) involving their partner companies. It is a national project and it will start by April.
New launch of IC Café spring 2008
Those of you who have experience from our IC Café know that it is a perfect meeting tool both for smaller and larger groups. Last autumn we improved the tool by developing what we call a “four field”. For example this function makes it possible to analyse benefits compared to costs regarding proposed ideas.
During the spring of 2008 it will be possible to offer IC Café as a stand alone.

A department within the Swedish Rail Administration used the IC Café during four workshops, all in the same day
The group, which consisted of 350 persons, was placed at different tables in one big room. There were about 40 tables with 7 – 10 persons at each table. Every table had one laptop, connected to an internal network and to the IC Café. The department was facing a big and fundamental organizational change and this was the topic for the event. Each workshop took approximately 45 minutes and covered:
1. What threats, risks and obstacles can you see with our new situation?
2. What possibilities can you see in our new situation?
3. What do you think that we have to do in our unit to manage the new situation?
4. What can I contribute with in this new situation?
After each workshop, the groups also voted and made priorities and cost benefit analysis with the help of the IC Café.
By using the IC Café the groups became very creative and there were many interesting and valuable discussions around the tables. As a result from the workshop, management received a list of more than 2000 suggestions/ideas which all were prioritized in terms of importance and in terms of how easy to implement the suggestions were.
The outcome from the fourth workshop also became input for each and every ones individual balance scorecards.

IC Community at Living Labs Open Innovation Community interactive day, October 16 2007.
IC Community will facilitate virtual knowledge café with the IC Community webbased tool, IC Café, october 16 in Bryssel at Living Labs Open Innovation Community interactive day. The event is organised by CoreLabs, CLOCK, OpenFutures, Collaboration@Rural, CoSpaces,
ECOSPACE, Laboranova and WearIT@Work. Sponor is the European Commission.
